The past couple of days have been full of good byes. I spent the weekend with my best friend Ryan Folsom in his hometown, Medford, Oregon. He has been called to the South Korea Soel mission, and reports next week:( I am very excited for him, but the next two years are going to be very long!! We had a fun-filled weekend hanging out with his awesome family, going to his farwell, playing street hockey, moving irrigation, four-wheeling, horseback riding, eating his mom's wonderful food, and hanging out with some of his friends. The good bye's were tearful (at least on my part) but hopefully time will pass by quickly!!!
Yesterday, or today, hah not quite sure when it was, I said good bye to my family and now have been shipped off to Austria!!! Longest flight of my life!! I am now sitting in the Austrian Airport waiting for the rest of the group to arrive, very glad to be off the 9 hour flight. I am getting nervous, everyone is speaking as if they are about to spit on me, and i dont understand anything they are saying!
