Last Wednesday we left for Prague, Czech Republic. We went to show the first night there, where dancers and objects do incredible tricks with a black light on them, making them appear to be floating and doing really cool things! We weren't allowed to take pictures during the show :(
Most of the day on Thursday was walking through the jewish quarter, sightseeing around town, and then we went to AIDA the opera!
The jewish cemetery has been used for hundreds of years, they just bury people on top of each other! My friend emily and I walked up to a ginormous metronome on the top of a hill that overlooked the city and that had a skate park! Jord and Cam would have fit right in!

Friday we went to the zoo:)
We also went to the botanical gardens, walked around through museum and churches and then went to a performance from two amazing guitarists at a small catholic church. The music and atmosphere beautiful, and i loved the old lady's bright pink hair! for some reason, older women in eastern europe love pink or purple hair!! Then we walked to Charles Bridge at sunset, so romantic! (haha too bad I didnt have a lover!!)
Charles Bridge at sunset.
According to legend, because I rubbed this I am going to have good luck for the next year!!Saturday I walked around the castle on the hill, churches, and then ended the night going to a water show..

We went to a doll/barbie museum! They had a BYU cheerleader barbie!

The entrance of the castle :)
Eating a waffle covered in melted chocolate! yummy!!
Old Town Square
Waiting for the clock tower to ring and little people to circle around
We went to a ballet/water show of Swan Lake.. Made me want to dance again :(We went to church in Prague, good thing they had a translator for us, i swear what they speak is not a language! After church a rode a tram up to a beautiful park filled with roses, and a replica of the Eiffel tower.

okay, how do you take all of this in? you are seeing and experiencing so much--i have so many questions for you but i'll save it for when you get home!
Hey TY! I tried to track you down. We called your dad for your phone and he said you were in Rome the whole week, then he called and said you were texting me, but I never got it. I won't write the whole phone number here, but did you do it to 650 or 602? 602 has been dead a long time. Darn! I wanted to help you with the Bon Jovi tix. I tried to look online to see when they were even playing, but couldn't find it. Hopefully, it is not too late.
Okay, back to your blog....please tell me you thought of me when you went through the barbie museum!!! I wish I had been there ; )
Can't wait to see all your pics from Rome and that you found the chocolate dipped gelato! (and maybe some cutie patootie Italian guy...heehee).
Oh, good news on our side...we found out we are having another GIRL!!! Yea!! Pink, Pink, and more Pink-I love it!
Miss you and can't wait to see the new you when you return. Something about seeing the world that really grows the soul and it shows both inside and out. I am so proud of you for stepping outside your comfort zone. If only others would do the same.....sigh....
